In The Heights

Chibbi Orduña (Usnavi de la Vega) is excited to be returning to the theatre after a 4 year hiatus. He most recently played Columbia in Bayou City Theatrics’ production of The Rocky Horror Show, and was last seen on the Laredo stage in LTGI’s production of Romeo and Juliet, as Mercutio. Other acting credits include Bodas de sangre (Leñador); Macbeth (multiple characters); The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged (Himself); Rent (Tom Collins); The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair); Sweeney Todd (multiple characters); By the Bog of Cats (Ghost Fancier); and Beat: A Play on Words (Actor 5), which he also directed. He is a nationally recognized poet, and works full time as a Makeup Artist and Regional Trainer for M•A•C Cosmetics.

Allie Howland (Nina Rosario) is the Social Media and Content Specialist at Liquid Studio Group, the first digital marketing agency in Laredo, Texas. A graduate of Trinity University, she is currently working towards earning a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Texas A&M International University. She is excited to return to the LTGI stage, having performed in past LTGI musicals such as The Sound of Music (Louisa), Annie (Ronnie Boylan), Hairspray (Dynamite), and Beauty and the Beast (Babette). No stranger to the stage, Allie has been involved in theater since the age of 11, and has recently gained production experience serving as Assistant Producer for The Who’s Tommy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Beauty and the Beast, and Yerma. Allie serves on the LTGI Board of Directors, and is excited to bring Nina Rosario to life in this wonderful production!

Meredith Peluffo (Vanessa) is a junior at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. An alumnus of Harmony Science Academy, she represented the U.S. in 2015 by singing in the International Festival of Language and Culture in Paris, France. This is both her acting and LTGI debut.

Gregory Banks is thrilled to come to Laredo, Texas to tell such a beautiful story. Raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, Gregory found his love for theater at a young age. He attended theater camp and many New York masterclasses and auditions. Banks graduated from East Brunswick High School in 2013, and continued his education at Howard University, where he studied Musical Theater. While at Howard, Banks was blessed to be in four main-stage musicals and one straight play (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin ensemble, Anything Goes ensemble/ Billy US, Sarafina Thandani, Ain’t Misbehaving Kent Page vocal, and Radio Golf Old Joe. Banks received his BFA in 2017 and has been working with theaters in the DC, Maryland, and Virgina (DMV) area. Gregory was last seen at Toby’s Dinner Theater as Spec in Newsies. Previous credits include: Toby’s: One more angle solo “Joseph”, Wayne/dance captain “Dreamgirls”. Artscentric: Snapshots a Dancical, and a variety of flash mobs with AJ’s Fashiest Mobs. Gregory would like to thank Marco for such an AMAZING opportunity, and the cast and crew for being so welcoming! 

Jose “Pepe” Treviño (Sonny) will be performing his 5th LTGI play with In the Heights. The 21 year old actor is currently a student at TAMIU majoring in English and minoring in Communications. Pepe has been an actor in the local theater scene for 10 years. His roles include Mike Teavee in Willy Wonka Jr., Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Flute in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Peter Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank. Being a first generation immigrant has made Pepe feel personally invested and excited for the story present by In the Heights.

Ana Hernandez (Abuela Claudia) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has taught in Texas public schools in both Laredo and San Antonio. Ana has performed as a featured soloist and chorister with the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church choir in Bristol, Exeter, and Durham, England. She has performed both operatic and musical theater repertoire with a number of distinguished organizations including South Texas Lyric Opera, UTSA Lyric Theatre, The Playhouse SA, The Playhouse Cellar Theater, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Temple Beth-El, Alamo Baroque Festival Chorus, San Antonio Opera, The San Antonio Symphony, The Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorale and most recently, the San Antonio Youth Wind Ensemble. She has been involved on stage, back stage, and as a costumer for both mainstage and youth productions at The Playhouse and Woodlawn Theatres. Some of her favorite roles include Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus and Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. Other roles include Anita in Bernstein’s West Side Story, the Stepmother in Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Katisha, in Gilbert and Sullivan’s the Mikado. Ana has also performed roles in The Sound of Music, The King and I, The Drowsy Chaperone and In the Heights. Ms. Hernandez currently teaches K-8 music and choir for SAISD and is overjoyed to be reprising the role of Abuela in her hometown of Laredo.

Sergio Saenz (Kevin Rosario) is a native of Laredo, husband, and father of two teenage daughters. His contributions to Laredo’s arts scene stems primarily from his prolific engagement in the local music scene. As a singer and songwriter for 20 years, he is no stranger to the stage. He built his charismatic and versatile persona as a guitar player and bassist by playing in the local circuit. Through his work in the hardcore punk scene, he has been able to tour all over the country. He has most notably performed with La Mata and was a founding member of the free jazz band Santo Vicio. Sergio Saenz enables countless fellow musicians in the community to participate in his ambitious musical ventures. He founded El Día del Rasquache, an annual festival designed to call attention to the alternative border music and art culture scene. Mr. Saenz is also co-host of the Jay Ram Show, a bi-weekly Facebook live video podcast that examines Internet trending events and their impact on the local counterculture. The show also stirs satirical debate and perspectives from a variety of guests. He is making his acting debut with his portrayal of Kevin Rosario and dedicates his performance to the Galactic Frontera.

Stephanie Solis Schnyder (Camila Rosario), is a veteran in Laredo’s theatre community, having worked for over 10 years, both as an actor and in production, with LTGI, LCC’s Opera Workshop, and LLT. She is the Choir Director at Lamar Middle School and One Act Play UIL. Stephanie’s roles include Claire Ganz (Rumors) and Mrs. Simpson (The Who’s Tommy) led by her roles such as Edith Frank (The Diary of Anne Frank), Wicked Witch and multiple chorus roles (Shrek The Musical), Maria (Bless Me Ultima), Marty (Grease), Ann Putnam (The Crucible) as part of Class on Stage, La Mujer de Leonardo (Bodas de sangre), Antonia (Man of la Mancha), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Bobbi (Some Girls), Elaine (Arsenic and Old Lace), Lucy (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), Lily St. Regis (Annie), Sharpay Evans (High School Musical), as well as being part of both productions of Beauty and the Beast done by LTGI among many others. Stephanie has also done backstage work as Stage Manager for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and previously costumer for Little Shop of Horrors for LCC’s Opera Workshop and others. Stephanie is thrilled to bring life to Camila Rosario in this production of In the Heights… so let the party begin en Washington Heights!

Celia Hernandez (Vocal Director/Daniela) is the Director of Choral Studies at the Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts. Her vocal direction credits range from children’s shows to adult productions, including The Who’s Tommy (LTGI), The Lion King Jr. (LITE), and Little Shop of Horrors (VMT). Her stage experience includes performances with LTGI, LITE Productions, and LCC Opera Workshop, appearing in such roles as Mama Morton (Chicago), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeney Todd), and Mrs. Van Daan (Diary of Anne Frank). She holds a Bachelor of Music from UTSA and a Masters of Music Education from Boston University. Most recently, Celia was seen on stage as a Lavandera in Federico Garcia Lorca’s Yerma. She is extremely proud of her In the Heights familia and is excited to be a part of this beautiful story. Wepa!

Desiree Perez (Carla) is a recent graduate of Lyndon B. Johnson High School, where she participated in several productions including 21 Chump Street (Naomi) and their region qualifying show, Never the Sinner (Germaine), through which she took the title of 2018 District Best Actress. She has also appeared in multiple productions at Laredo Little Theater, the most recent being Mulan Jr. where she played the ancestor Zhang. In the Heights marks Desiree’s debut with LTGI and is a show Desiree is very honored to have been cast in with so many talented people. She has loved the fine arts since she was in diapers and hopes she can continue to appear on the LTGI stage for many years to come.

Roel Rivera (Piraguero) was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. Roel is a singer/songwriter of many genres. Roel is currently the lead singer of Laredo, Texas’ own “Southern Wild Country Band”. Roel’s past theater experience includes: LLT’s Jesus Christ Superstar (Caiaphas), LTGI’s The Who’s Tommy (Uncle Ernie), LLT’s A Charlie Brown Christmas (Schroeder), LTGI’s Beauty and the Beast (Maurice), and LTGI’s The House on Mango Street (Papa, Louie’s Cousin, Alicia’s Father, Ensemble). Roel would like to send out his undying love and appreciation to all that believe in him and his talent.

Emilio Villalobos (Graffiti Pete, Assistant Dance Captain) is a Puertorrican dancer. His regional credits include, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, The Carnival Side Show, Aladdin, A Nightmare Christmas, and Hip Hop Nutcracker. Emilio is a dance member of the School for the Performing Arts by Waldo González.

Cristal Alsina (Ensemble) is a Puertorrican dancer. Her regional credits include, The Phantom of the Opera, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Salsa Congress 2012 (Sub Champion), Salsoul y Z-93 (Dancer). Her film/TV El Corazón del la Mariposa Monarca Short-Film. Cristal is a dance member of the School of the Performing Arts by Waldo González. She has a BFA in Business Administration from Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico.

Leann Bernal (Ensemble) is an incoming senior at J.W. Nixon High School and the Vidal M. Treviño School of Communication and Fine Arts where she studies dance. This is Leann’s third production with LTGI and is very excited to be a part of such a talented cast. She would like to thank her family and friends for their amazing support and the production team for the opportunity.

Nikole Bonillas (Ensemble) is excited to return to the LTGI stage. She is a recent graduate of John B. Alexander High School and the Magnet School for Health Science, where she participated in the Mighty Bulldog Band, UIL Prose and Poetry, and One Act Play. She has appeared in other productions, such as Cinderella, Hairspray, The Little Mermaid Jr., The Lion King Jr., Harvey, and Reckless. This fall, she will attend the University of Pennsylvania where she plans to study Biology and Biomedical Science.

Jorge Dimas (Ensemble) is the Associate Director for Graduate School at Texas A&M International University. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (2013) from the same institution. When Jorge is not assisting students continue with their graduate studies, he spends time practicing his dance skills at the studio. His dance background comes from modern dance, salsa, hip hop, and other dancing styles. He also has experience acting in several local plays including High School Musical. Jorge enjoys being on stage and, this summer, he is excited to be a member of the hottest musical in Laredo, In the Heights.

Dancing and acting have always been part of her Heidy’s life. She has been in several plays and musicals in both Laredo and Nuevo Laredo. She most recently played “Wanda” in You’ve got Hate Mail and “Hembra” in Yerma, a production that started her with the LTGI family. She is really thankful and honored to have been given the opportunity to be, once again, part of this family and with such an amazing production as this. She wants to give a big shout out to the adorable and extremely talented cast, our Puerto Rican guests stars, the hard working crew and technicians, the producers and of course the amazing directors for making all this possible. Last but not least, “That set is incredible!”

Javier Iván (Ensemble, Assistant Dance Captain) is a Puertorrican actor, singer, and dancer. His regional credits include, The Fantastiks (Matt), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph) Mexico, Evita, Into the Woods, and West Side Story Mexico. His film/TV credits include, Serie Escándalos Telemundo Internacional, Una Boda en Castañer. Javier is a dance member of the School of the Performing Arts by Waldo González. He has a BFA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico.

Katelyn Kahn (Ensemble) is a recent graduate from Nixon High School and the Vidal M. Treviño Magnet School of Communications and Fine Arts as a vocal studies student under Ms. Celia Hernandez. She competed in the Texas Music Educator Association All-State Vocal competition where she’s had the honor of performing in the 2016, 2017, & 2018 All-State Treble Choir. She performed in numerous productions including Peter and the Starcatcher, Yerma, The House of Bernarda Alba, Mother Courage and Her Children, and The Who’s Tommy. This Fall, she will attend New York University Tisch School of the Arts Drama for a BFA in Acting.

Elvin Ramos López (Ensemble) is a Puertorrican actor, singer, and dancer. His regional credits include, The Fantastiks (Matt), Once on This Island (Papá Gé), Clemente: The Leyend of 21, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Levi), West Side Story (Bernardo). His film/TV credits include, Dos Caminos and She’s Gotta Have It Too. Elvin is a dance member of the School for the Performing Arts by Waldo González. He has a BFA in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico.

Joshua McCaulley (Ensemble) is an actor, musician, and comedian. He was an active member of Zero Untitled Films and Productions, based in Kingsville, TX, for 3 years. He was involved in mainstage productions, dark tours, and the improve comedy troupe, Premature Punchline. He has worked with LTGI as part of the pit orchestra. This is the second time he has taken his talent from under the stage to on the stage.

Alejandro Meza (Ensemble) started acting in Mexico City when he was 6 years old. He graduated with an associate degree from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Mexico City with a concentration in Theater Arts and Humanities. As far as dancing goes, he has done it instinctively since he was a little boy. He has participated in multiple shows with LTGI and LCC Opera Workshop, but some of his favorites were Shrek (as The Big, Bad Wolf), Seussical the Musical, Carousel (as Billy Bigelow), and Yerma. He has also participated in shows in Dallas, TX and Mt. Pleasant, TX, in a rendition of Charlotte’s Web. Alex has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from TAMIU and is currently a member of the Office of Communications at United ISD. He is thrilled to be part of In the Heights!

Orlando Moreno (Ensemble), born and raised in Laredo, TX, started his path in dance while attending the V.M.T Magnet School. Thereafter, he attended Texas State University for two years all while experiencing hands on training in Modern and Ballet. He joined the Central Texas Ballet Conservatory for two seasons, as well as performing “Plains Daybreak”, created by Eric Hawkins, under the direction of Artistic Director, Katherine Duke. After two years in San Marcos, Orlando moved to L.A. to pursue a dance career in commercial dance. Having lived there for four years, he trained in some of the most prestigious studios L.A. has to offer. Studios such as Debbie Reynolds, now Debbie Reynold Legacy, Edge Studios, I.D.A., and Millennium Dance Complex. Orlando has trained intensively in Hip Hop dance, as well as other styles such as, ballet, modern, contemporary, salsa, Afro-Fusion, and many more. Having performed for many major choreographers for Carnival, Club Jete, and Phlextravaganza, he landed the job that would spark an even greater fire. Having the opportunity to perform at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2016. Sadly after, Orlando tore his Achilles tendon making his life in L.A. come to an end. Now, he is a Hip Hop instructor at Laredo School of Contemporary Dance, Lily Hachar Dance Studio and Dancer’s Edge. Orlando has a goal to hopefully create a bridge to help those who really want to pursue dance at the professional level and give them the necessary tools to tackle the outside world. Always pushing to exceed his goals, this will be Orlando’s first musical performance.

Priscilla Perez (Ensemble) is so excited to be working with LTGI’s production of In the Heights. Priscilla has been a part of other theatre companies such as LCC Opera Workshop, where she had her stage debut as ensemble in Carousel, and most recently in High School Musical as Kratnoff. She has also been in Laredo Little Theatre’s production of Mulan as Grandmother Fa. Even though Priscilla is quite new to theater, she is not new to the stage, having had 6 years of experience performing in dance. She hopes to pursue a career in dance and to continue dancing in her community.

Javier Sanchez (Ensemble) is very excited to be a part of such an amazing production this summer. Javier has appeared on stage and backstage on numerous productions throughout Laredo, his recent productions include High School Musical (Choreographer), Yerma (Assistant Stage Manager), The House on Mango Street (Costumes), Beauty and the Beast (Assistant Stage Manager/Props), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin), and many more. He would like to thank LTGI for giving him the opportunity to be able to perform in such an amazing show. He would also like to thank his family and friends for being there for him and supporting what he does.

Zaiedd Vélez (Ensemble) is a Puertorrican actress, dancer, and singer. Her regional credits include, The Addams Family, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, and Fame The Musical. Her film/TV credits include, Serie TV La Academia. Zaiedd is a dance member of the School for the Performing Arts by Waldo González. She has a BFA in Drama from the University of the Sacred Heart.

Marco Gonzalez (Director) is the Artistic Director of Laredo Theater Guild International and Audio/Video Production Teacher At J.W. Nixon High School. He is a graduate of The University Of Texas At Austin with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Radio/TV/Film. His directing credits include LTGI's Yerma (2018), LTGI’s The Diary of Anne Frank (2015), LTGI's The 39 Steps (2014), LTGI’s Romeo & Juliet (2013) And Imago Theatre’s By The Bog Of Cats (2011). When not involved in community-based theater, Marco is the co-director of Nixon High School’s UIL One-Act Play with Jose Flores. During his time at Nixon, their program has garnered two State appearances for their productions of Mother Courage and Her Children (2017) and Twelfth Night (2014). Both productions received the State Best Actress prize. The program has also earned one Region appearance for this year's Peter and the Starcatcher (2018) and two Area appearances for their all-female production of Hamlet (2016) and Romeo & Juliet (2015). The troupe recently traveled to Scotland last August where they were invited to perform Federico García Lorca’s The House of Bernarda Alba at The 70th Annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival. Marco’s notable forays into film include interning at The Weinstein Company in Los Angeles, CA, attending the 2012 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT and working in production on many local short and feature films. He has been actively involved in theater for over fifteen years. Marco’s credits on stage include LITE Production’s Side Man (Ziggy), LLT's Measure For Pleasure (Sir Peter Lustforth) and LTGI's A Midsummer Night's Dream (Quince).

Dr. Celina T. Oliveira (Co-Producer), a native Laredoan, returned in 2010 to open the first and only Audiology private practice in the city. She currently serves as corresponding secretary for the Laredo Theater Guild International (LTGI). She is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and serves as President-Elect of the Texas Exes – Laredo Chapter. She received her Doctorate of Audiology from Lamar University in 2008.

Her LTGI credits span over eight years and include: Makeup Artist in Agnes of God (2010), The Importance of Being Ernest (2010), Hairspray (2013) as well as serving as Assistant Producer for Annie (2011), Macbeth (2011), Bodas de sangre (2012), Romeo & Juliet (2013), 39 Steps (2014), and Shrek (2015). She made her debut as Producer in the hilarious comedy, God of Carnage (2016). She is most proud of her work as Producer in LTGI’s first rock musical, The Who’s Tommy (2016) as well as the highly moving and inspirational drama, Yerma (2018). In the Heights will be her eighteenth production with LTGI.

All her gratitude is given to the talented actors and production team for igniting creativity and self-expression in her daily life.

Linda López Howland (Co Producer) Always interested in the performing arts, Linda’s involvement in Laredo’s theater community began years ago as a volunteer at her young daughter’s various theatrical performances. Linda’s own theatrical involvement started with her debut as Alice Russell in LTGI’s season opener of Gore Vidal’s The Best Man in 2008. Since then, she has remained active with LTGI in such supportive roles as Assist Producer of Man of La Mancha (2009) and Bodas de Sangre (2012); Producer of Doubt (2010), Agnes of God (2011) and The Foreigner (2011); Shrek, The Musical (2015); Co-Producer of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2016), The Diary of Anne Frank (2015). She was Co-Producer of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Costumer of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew (2010). Additionally, she played the roles of M’Lynn in LTGI’s Steel Magnolias (2013); Lady Macduff in Shakespeare’s Macbeth (2011), and Sis in Last Lists of My Mad Mother (2010). A native Laredoan, Linda loves her community, its people and its unique culture. She currently serves on the board of LTGI as Past President; she is a past president of the Children’s Advocacy Center, past president of The Luncheon Club, and is a member of the Society of Martha Washington. She and her husband Doug, portrayed George and Martha Washington for the 120th Washington’s Birthday Celebration (2017). A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she has been an active real estate broker for the past 30 years. To the young actors in the cast, she would like to say “Believe in the process that is theatre; it is a journey, and the life skills you develop as a result, will stay with you the rest of your life”.

A native of Kingsville, Texas, Robert M. Lopez (Musical Director) holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Texas A&I University, now Texas A&M University-Kingsville. A recipient of such awards as The John Phillip Sousa Award, 2 year – TMEA All-State Band, The National Association of Jazz Educators Award for Outstanding Musicianship (N.A.J.E.), Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, TAMIU Extra Miler Award, VMT Director’s Award, LISD Secondary Teacher of the Year and most recently, the Laredo Chamber of Commerce School Bell Teacher Award, Mr. Lopez is completing his 28th year as a music educator. He began teaching for LISD in 1991 at Martin High School and is currently in his 24th year teaching applied trumpet and French horn alongside directing the Soundtown Jazz Ensemble, VMT Philharmonic Orchestra, and VMT Wind Ensemble at Vidal M. Treviño School of Communications and Fine Arts. He is a member of the City of Laredo Fine Arts and Culture Commission and has also served as music director for Laredo Theater Guild International’s productions of Hairspray, Shrek, The Who’s Tommy, and Beauty and the Beast.

Waldo González, SDC (Choreographer) started dancing ballet with Myrta Estevez at the age of 14. At the age of 18, he received a scholarship to study dance at the “Joffrey’s Ballet School” in New York. There he was awarded as scholarship to study Modern Dance with the great Merce Cunningham. On Broadway, he auditioned and was selected from a group of thirty-nine applicants for a scholarship with Jojo Smith and Sue Samuels. He then studied Ballet and Modern Dance at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In the year 2000, he choreographed his first Broadway musical where he was considered “As one of the most prominent choreographers of Puerto Rico” by the then-New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani. In January of 2003, he was accepted in the prestigious Society for Stage Directors and Choreographers of New York City, being the only Puerto Rican among a register of 1,700 people. In April of the same year, he was invited to be part of the faculty of the International Congress of Rock Operas and Musical Theatre in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He currently directs, with great success, School for the Performing Arts, and institution that has been teaching dance and Theatre for over 24 years, which counts with 36 highly trained faculty teachers. He was also Producer and Choreographer of the musicals, such as, A Chorus Line presented in 2006, Oliver The Musical in 2009, Hair in March of 2010 (Winner of the Alejandro Tapia and Rivera Award for his choreographic work), Jesus Christ Superstar in March of 2011, Willy Wonka in 2012, Legally Blonde in 2013, The Carnival Side Show in 2014, Aladdin in 2015, and Hip Hop Nutcracker in 2016. This is the second time collaborating with the Laredo Theater Guild International.

Karol Ann Batey (Assistant Director) is an Assessment Specialist at Texas A&M International University. Karol attended Texas Tech University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and TAMIU for her Masters of Professional Accountancy. Karol has performed in many shows, with her most recent LTGI appearances in Yerma as a Lavandera directed by Marco Gonzalez, Shrek as Mama Bear and The Crucible as Elizabeth Proctor, both under the direction of Vernon Carroll. Karol has directed numerous productions with her most recent being LTGI’s God of Carnage and Laredo Little Theatre’s Noises Off. Karol would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, especially her daughter, Lucy Andrea, and her partner, Jesus, for being there for her through the long rehearsals and long conversations about rehearsals. Theater is her passion passed on from mother to daughter, and she hopes to bring it to life in her hometown of Laredo. The arts are alive in Laredo, and we must protect it. Long Live the Galactic Frontera!

This is Mark Rodriguez’s (Stage Manger) first time as a full-time Stage Manager with an LTGI Production. Mark is a seventeen-year-old, rising senior at Martin High School and VMT. He has worked on various LTGI productions, such as Bless Me Ultima, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Beauty and the Beast. He has also worked backstage for Shrek The Musical, The Who’s Tommy, and The House on Mango Street. Recently, he starred in VMT’s production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum as Miles Gloriosus. He would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support, his two teachers, Mr. Carroll and Mr. Castillo, and Marco Gonzalez for giving him the opportunity to work on such an amazing show.

Casandra Canales (Costumer) is an LTGI Board member and has been involved in many of the Guild’s plays as an actress, assistant director, crew member, and costumer. She would like to thank Ari Mendez for all of her help and support during the costuming process. Thanks to all the actors for their help and input.

Telissa Lueckenotte Molano (Set Designer) born and raised outside of Kansas City Missouri, is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Design with studies in both Rouen and Paris, France. After working in two major architectural firms and have migrated South down Interstate 35, she met her husband, Juan, in Dallas. She is a partner in the architectural firm, Redline Architecture. Seventeen years of drinking Laredo water and seven seasons of collaborating with LTGI, she has helped create over 17 sets including In the Heights, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Cinderella, The Diary of Anne Frank, My Fair Lady, Hairspray, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Who’s Tommy, Bodas de Sangre, God of Carnage, The Crucible, Macbeth, The 39 Steps, Bless Me Ultima, Yerma, and The House on Mango Street. She played Marlene in Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got the Will. She also collaborated with the Society of Martha Washington to produce the 2016-2019 Colonial Ball sets. She is blessed to be a board member for Casa de Misericordia and LTGI.

Chris Morgan (Properties Master) is excited to work alongside such a talented and vibrant cast and production team on what promises to be a lively and engaging show. Recent gigs on LTGI shows include Assistant Director for “Yerma” (2018), onstage as the Bookseller in “Beauty and the Beast” (2017), and he is especially proud to have directed “Real Women Have Curves” (2017).
