Casandra Canales is a Laredo Theater Guild board member and has been involved in Laredo’s community theater for the past two decades. She is a communications and theater teacher at Lyndon B. Johnson High School. She is represented by Collier Talent Agency in Austin. Her theater credits include Lend Me a Tenor (LTGI), Incognito (LLT), Yerma (LTGI). Her movie credits include I’ll Be There (Amazon Prime). She made her directing debut in 2020 with LTGI’s Wit. She is thrilled to be back in the director’s chair for Kate Hamill’s Sense and Sensibility.

Pepe Trevino Jose “Pepe” Trevino is a proud alum of LTGI and TAMIU. Sense and Sensibility is his first role in the executive production team as Assistant Director. Pepe has been an active member of Laredo’s arts com- munity since 2008. In theatre, he’s participated as an actor in school productions such as The Wizard of Oz, Twelfth Night, and with Laredo Theater Guild International in productions like Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl and The Who’s Tommy. As a poet, Pepe was named Co-Champion of the Laredo Border Slam in 2019. In film, Pepe has participated in student films for J. W. Nixon Filmmakers Society. He has written, produced, and directed over a dozen independent and student short films. His latest film, ANALOG, was the recipient of the University of Colorado’s EURECA research grant and Colorado Office of Film and Media’s Film Education grant. Pepe is excited to continue his artistic journey back home in
Laredo.

Linda López Howland (Co-Producer) Always interested in the perform- ing arts, her involvement in Laredo’s theater community began years ago as a volunteer at her daughter’s various theatrical performances. Linda’s theatrical involvement started with her debut as Alice Russell in LTGI’s season opener of Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man” in 2008. Since then, she has remained active with LTGI in such supportive roles as Assistant Producer
of “Man of La Mancha” (2009) and “Bodas de Sangre” (2012); Produc-
er of “Doubt” (2010), “Agnes of God” (2011) and “The Foreigner” (2011); “Shrek,The Musical” (2015); “The Diary of Anne Frank” (2015), In the Heights (2018), Frankenstein (2023), Zoot Suit (2024) and as Costumer on Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” (2010) and “Anna in the Tropics” (2023). Additionally she played the roles of M’Lynn in LTGI’s “Steel Magno- lias” (2013), Lady Macduff in Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” (2011), and Sis in Last “Lists of My Mad Mother” (2010). A native Laredoan, Linda believes in the power of theatre to lift spirits and connect audiences. To the young actors in the cast, she would like to say “Believe in the process that is theatre; it is a journey, and the life skills you develop as a result, will stay with you the rest of your life”.

Suzanne H. Alford (Co-Producer) is excited to participate in LTGI’s Class on Stage® Production. She is delighted to be returning & have this oppor- tunity to participate in such a fulfilling experience. She made her debut as co-producer in Zoot Suit (2024). She has assisted with costumes in the productions of Beauty and the Beast (2017), Anna in the Tropics (2022), and wigs/hair in Midsummer Night’s Dream (2016). She is a native Lare- doan and has been involved with local theater since 2008 when her two children auditioned for Oliver. Suzanne has remained active with Laredo Theater Guild International and has been serving on board for the past 15 years. She would like to thank her husband, Bryon A. Alford, for his unwavering love and support.

Katelyn Kahn (she/her) is thrilled to be back with LTGI and living in her Jane Austen era. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, The Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute, and the Stanislavsky, Brecht & Beyond program in Berlin, Germany. She has performed in Prospect Park, The Tank (NYC), Playwrights Downtown, the Fresh
Fruit Theatre Festival at the wild project, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Recent credits include Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Body - The Musical (based on Stephen King’s Stand by Me), Cowgirl Summer, & Mary Stuart. She wants to thank her family, friends, Julia, and all those involved in this production.

Allyson Tellez is excited to return to the LTGI stage! Recently, she had the opportunity to perform alongside VMT theater students as an alumna in Lord of the Flies at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Previous LTGI credits include Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Suzanne), Zoot Suit (Alice Bloomfield), Hand to God (Jessica), Frankenstein, and Into the Woods. She has also performed with Laredo
Little Theater in Let the Right One In (Eli). Allyson has contributed behind the scenes as a crew member and part of the production team for numerous LTGI shows.

Sophia Ella Garcia Sophia Ella Garcia (16) is a student at Alexander High School. Sophia is making her theatrical debut with the Laredo Theater Guild International’s Sense and Sensibility, and she has quickly fallen in love with the stage. Excited to be part of this production, she is grateful for the opportunity to step into the role of Margaret, the younger Dashwood sister. Her favorite quote from the play
is “Know your own happiness” which Sophia feels is important to keep in mind, even when challenges arise. Sophia follows in the footsteps of her younger sister, Stella, a seasoned LTGI performer whose credits include Matilda the Musical and School of Rock:The Musical. She is grateful to be part of the LTGI family and extends heartfelt thanks to her family for their encouragement and support, especially her momma, who has been by her side every step of the way.

Lisa Veronica Martinez has been a proud member of the LTGI community on and off since 2009, finding joy both onstage and behind the scenes. This marks her second Class on Stage Production with the company. She spent several years in Austin, Texas, performing and teaching locally, including work at the University of Texas and the
city’s regional theater, ZACH Theater. Her most recent credits include Patty DiMarco in School of Rock, Constance Blackwood in Ride the Cyclone at Laredo College, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical, and Elizabeth Lavenza in Frankenstein. She is deeply grateful to her family and friends for their constant love and support as she continues to pursue her creative passions.

Emiliano Reyna is a proud Laredoan! He has been acting in theater since high school at LBJ. He got his Bachelor’s in fine arts at NYU where he studied primarily in the Experimental Theatre wing! He is living his artistic dream getting to perform for his community and creating original work around the country! His life’s mission is to inspire other chicanos to pursue their dreams with fearlessness, and thanks his family
and friends for supporting him in the past, present, and future!

Desiree Perez (Fanny Dashwood, Lucy Steele, & Gossip), was most recently seen in LTGI’s last two shows; Fool For Love (May) and School Of Rock (Bob/Mrs.Lawrence), but she is not new to the stage. Desiree has participated in many productions including: Company (April/Choreographer), Cyrano De Bergerac (Roxanne), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmeralda), and The Addams Family (Wednesday).
She also appeared in productions at Lyndon B Johnson HS including roles in 21 Chump Street (Naomi), and their 2018 region qualifying show; Never The Sinner (Germaine), through which she took the title of 2018 District Best Actress. You may have also seen Desiree on stage with Laredo Theater Guild International or Laredo Little Theater in her roles in In The Heights (Carla), and Mary Poppins (ensemble) or the Little Mermaid Jr. (Arista), Beauty and the Beast Jr. (Babette), and more dating as far back as 2012. Her experiences off the formal stage also include her putting her talents to use at Alamo Drafthouse as a host ( come catch me at a movie party! :D), in short films, and at various charity based performance opportunities, including the 2023 Laredo Women’s City Club ‘The Voice’ contest, in which she was one of the winners and donated her proceeds to the Laredo College Scholarship Fund. Her love for the arts has been with her since she was a baby and she hopes she can continue to appear on several stages for many years to come.

Ben Hinojosa is thrilled to be sharing the stage with such a great and talented cast. He is grateful that the entire LTGI team is making it possible to showcase Sense and Sensibility for all of Laredo and South Texas. Last year, he appeared in LTGI’s Class on Stage production of Zoot Suit portraying George Shearer. His other on-stage productions include: Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Fool for Love, School of Rock,
9 to 5, A Tuna Christmas, American Idiot, West Side Story, Murder on the Orient Express, and Dangerous Liaisons. He thanks his family and friends for their constant support!

Ben Lule (John Willoughby) is excited to be part of this year’s class on stage production “Sense and Sensibility”. This is his 4th LTGI show. You may have seen him in other LTGI productions such as (Henry Reyna) in “Zoot Suit” and (Visitor) in “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” and (Ned Schneebly) in School Of Rock. Ben also crewed for LTGI’s production “Fool For Love”. You may also have seen him on the
Laredo College stage in Lucky Stiff (Vinnie DiRuzzio). He has also been part of several films for the Laredo Film Society. Ben is excited about this opportunity and is looking forward to more opportunities to come.

Jose Flores is currently a Theater Arts Teacher at the Vidal M. Trevino School of Communication and Fine Arts (VMT) Magnet, but is a big believer in LTGI and its place in our community, especially the Class On Stage program’s impact with local students. Recent LTGI acting credits include DeLacey in Frankenstein, Mr. Saunders in Lend Me A Tenor, the Gravedigger in Hamlet, and Sagot in Picasso at the Lapin
Agile. Prior LTGI directing credits include Man of La Mancha, Bodas De Sangre,The Who’s Tommy, The House on Mango Street, Into the Woods, and Zoot Suit. At VMT, Jose recently got back from the Festival Fringe (August 2025) in Edinburgh, Scotland with Marco Gonzalez and Celia Hernandez, where their students performed Lord of the Flies to an international audience.

Celia Hernadez (Mrs. Jennings) is the current president of the board for LTGI as well as the director of choral studies at the Vidal M. Trevino School of Communications and Fine Arts. As an educator, Ms. Hernandez studied both music education and vocal pedagogy at the University of Texas at San Antonio, focusing on vocal technique. Her vocal direction credits range from children’s shows to adult
productions, including “In the Heights” and “Mary Poppins,” both produced by Laredo Theater Guild International, and “Little Shop of Horrors” (VMT). Her stage experience includes performances with LTGI, LITE Productions, and Laredo College Opera Workshop, appearing in such roles as Mama Morton (_Chicago_), Mrs. Lovett (_Sweeney Todd_), Mrs. Van Daan (_Diary of Anne Frank_), and The Witch (_Into the Woods_). This past summer, Celia made her LTGI directorial debut with _School of Rock_, ending season 16 with a bang. She is thrilled to return to the stage for this Class on Stage production of her favorite Jane Austen novel and thanks her sisters for making her life make sense (sensibly).

Ren Degollado is thrilled to be making his Laredo Theater Guild debut in Sense and Sensibility. He previously appeared in Let the Right One In with Laredo Little Theatre as Johnny and Jocke. (He really enjoyed being a bully) Ren is also a passionate composer and producer, making music under the name Ren Reverie (on all socials). He would like to thank his friends, who inspire and support him and for
truly appreciating and believing in him.

Anne Frey has played a variety of roles on stage including Dr. E.M. Ashford in LTGI’s 2020 production of “W;t”, Dr. Jody in the uniquely homegrown Laredo College production of “The COVID Drive-In Musical”, as well as a role in Music Theatre International’s celebration of the return of stage performances after COVID called “All Together Now!” presented by the Laredo College Opera Workshop. Anne
has been a research administrator developing grant applications with the faculty and staff at TAMIU going on 20 years.

Ricardo Garcia is thrilled to be joining the cast of Sense and Sensibility in the role of Tomas, the servant. This marks his third theater production and an exciting step forward in his journey as an actor. Ricardo’s first experience in theater began with Las Soldaderas, where he worked behind the scenes on projector and crew, learning the dedication it takes to bring a performance to life. He then stepped into the
spotlight during the summer play Con Mis Manos, taking on two contrasting roles: Esteban, the caring yet stern father of the main character, and Chris, the goofy uncle who provided comic relief. These experiences helped him discover a true passion for performing and storytelling. Beyond the stage, Ricardo is a fitness influencer, model, content creator, and musician. Known for his sociable and creative nature, he enjoys connecting with others and looks forward to continuing to grow as both an artist and performer.

Leann Bernal (She/Her) is excited to return to LTGI, where she previously choreographed Matilda the Musical and served as assistant choreographer for The Little Mermaid. She has also performed as a dancer and ensemble member in several LTGI productions. Beyond the stage, Leann works as a creative director, choreographer, and TV host, with experience in short films and theater productions across
Los Angeles and Texas. She is thrilled to bring her love of performance and storytelling to this production.

Kayley Dalrymple is a recent graduate of John B. Alexander High School and will begin her freshman year of college next fall, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. She has a rich background in theatre, appearing in productions such as Uncool, And A Child Shall Lead, Arsenic and Old Lace, Sideman, Moon Over Buffalo, and Beetlejuice Jr. In addition to her love for acting, Kayley
is also a passionate singer and continues to explore her talents both on stage and beyond. With her wide range of performing experience, Kayley is excited to take the stage once again.
